Hearty Beef Chili
Ingredients
- Ground beef
- Canned diced tomatoes
- Kidney beans
- Chili powder
- Onion
- Bell pepper
- Garlic
- Cumin
- Shredded cheddar cheese
Steps
- Brown ground beef in a large pot, then drain excess fat. Remove beef and set aside.
- Sauté chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic in the same pot until softened.
- Return beef to the pot, add diced tomatoes, rinsed kidney beans, chili powder, and cumin. Stir well.
- Bring to a simmer, then cover and cook for at least 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve hot, topped with shredded cheddar cheese.
