Simple Beef Lasagna
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
- 9 lasagna noodles, cooked
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Steps
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brown ground beef and onion in olive oil; drain fat. Stir in marinara sauce.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, egg, and Parmesan cheese.
- Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in a baking dish. Layer with noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella.
- Repeat layers, ending with noodles, sauce, and mozzarella on top.
- Bake for 45 minutes, then let rest 10 minutes before serving.
