Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Steps
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (a few lumps are okay). Do not overmix.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or non-stick pan over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter per pancake.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Serve immediately with your favorite toppings.
