Quick Churros
Ingredients
- All-purpose flour
- Water
- Butter
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
- Chocolate chips
- Milk
Steps
- For churros: In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil. Remove from heat, stir in flour until a dough ball forms.
- Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip. Pipe strips of dough directly into hot oil (about 350°F/175°C) and fry until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels, then immediately roll in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
- For chocolate sauce: Gently melt chocolate chips with a splash of milk in a microwave or double boiler, stirring until smooth. Serve churros with warm chocolate sauce.
