Simple Dal Tadka

Ingredients

  • Yellow lentils
  • Onion
  • Tomato
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Cumin seeds
  • Turmeric
  • Ghee

Steps

  1. Cook yellow lentils until tender.
  2. In a separate pan, sauté chopped onion, tomato, ginger, and garlic.
  3. In a small pan, temper cumin seeds in hot ghee until fragrant.
  4. Combine tempered spices and sautéed vegetables with the cooked lentils, mix well, and serve.
