Easy Baked Fish and Chips

Ingredients

  • White fish fillets (e.g., cod, haddock)
  • Potatoes
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Lemon

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut potatoes into thick-cut chips, toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then spread on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake chips for 15 minutes. While chips bake, season fish fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. Add fish to the baking sheet with the chips and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until fish is cooked through and flaky, and chips are golden.
  4. Serve immediately with lemon wedges and malt vinegar if desired.
