Simplified Feijoada (Brazilian Black Bean Stew)
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb smoked sausage (e.g., linguiça), sliced
- 2 cans (400g each) black beans, undrained
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup chopped cooked pork (optional)
- Rice for serving
