Quick Homemade Hummus
Ingredients
- 1 (15-oz) can chickpeas (drained, rinsed)
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2-4 tbsp cold water
- Olive oil for drizzling
Steps
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, and salt.
- Process until smooth, slowly adding cold water 1 tablespoon at a time, until desired creamy consistency is reached.
- Transfer hummus to a serving bowl. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Serve immediately with warm pita bread or vegetables.
