For a perfectly relaxed evening, I love preparing fresh hummus with warm pita bread. It’s simple, wholesome, and incredibly satisfying.

Homemade Creamy Hummus

15 minutes • Easy

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Steps

  1. Combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, water, and salt in a food processor.
  2. Process until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. Add more water if a thinner consistency is desired.
  3. Transfer to a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil before serving with warm pita bread or fresh vegetables.
