Quick Ful Medames
Ingredients
- 1 can fava beans (ful medames)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- Salt, cumin, and chili powder to taste
Steps
- Rinse and drain fava beans. Place them in a saucepan and gently heat.
- Mash the beans lightly with a fork.
- Stir in olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, salt, cumin, and chili powder.
- Serve warm with pita bread and sliced tomatoes.
