When I need a burst of energy to get through my day, fresh sushi rolls are my go-to. They’re light, delicious, and always make me feel ready to tackle anything!

Homemade Spicy Tuna Rolls

30 minutes • Medium

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sushi rice, cooked and seasoned
  • 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 nori sheets
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • Cucumber sticks

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix drained tuna with mayonnaise and sriracha.
  2. Place a nori sheet on a bamboo rolling mat. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice evenly over the nori, leaving a border at the top.
  3. Arrange a line of spicy tuna, avocado, and cucumber sticks horizontally across the center of the rice.
  4. Carefully roll the nori tightly from the bottom, using the mat to compress. Moisten the top edge of the nori to seal. Slice into 6-8 pieces and serve.
