Homemade Falafel Wraps
Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1 tsp cumin
- 4 large pita breads
- Tahini sauce and chopped tomatoes/cucumbers for topping
Steps
- Combine chickpeas, parsley, cilantro, onion, and cumin in a food processor. Pulse until coarsely ground but not pureed.
- Form mixture into small patties or balls. Fry in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
- Warm pita breads. Spread with tahini sauce.
- Fill pita with falafel, chopped tomatoes, and cucumbers. Serve immediately.
