Whenever I want to feel instantly happy, I treat myself to mango sticky rice. Its sweetness and tropical flavor always bring a smile to my face.
Easy Mango Sticky Rice
Ingredients
- 1 cup glutinous rice
- 1 can (13.5 oz) coconut milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 ripe mangoes
- Pinch of salt
Steps
- Cook glutinous rice until tender (steamer or rice cooker).
- In a saucepan, heat coconut milk, sugar, and salt until sugar dissolves.
- Pour half of the coconut sauce over the cooked rice and mix well; let stand for 10 minutes.
- Peel and slice mangoes. Serve warm sticky rice with fresh mango slices and drizzle with remaining coconut sauce.
