Classic Arepas con Queso
Ingredients
- Pre-cooked cornmeal (Harina P.A.N.)
- Water
- Salt
- Mozzarella cheese
- Butter
Steps
- Mix cornmeal, water, and salt to form a soft dough.
- Form small patties, pressing a piece of cheese into the center of each.
- Seal the edges and flatten slightly.
- Cook on a griddle or in a pan with a little butter until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve warm with extra butter if desired.
