Simple California Rolls
Ingredients
- 2 cups sushi rice, cooked
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- Nori (seaweed) sheets
- 1/2 cucumber, julienned
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Imitation crab sticks
Steps
- After cooking, mix rice with rice vinegar. Let cool to room temperature.
- Lay a nori sheet on a bamboo mat. Spread a thin layer of rice evenly over the nori, leaving a border.
- Arrange cucumber, avocado, and crab sticks in a line across the center of the rice.
- Carefully roll the mat tightly from one end, sealing the edge with a little water. Slice into pieces.
