Classic Apple Crumble
Ingredients
- 6 medium apples (e.g., Gala, Honeycrisp), peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for apples)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar (for topping)
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
Steps
- 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Toss sliced apples with granulated sugar and cinnamon. Spread evenly in an 8x8 inch baking dish.
