When I’m feeling a bit nervous or under the weather, a simple cup of warm herbal tea and a piece of buttered toast always calms my stomach and my mind. It’s my little ritual.

Soothing Chamomile Tea with Honey Toast

5 minutes • Easy

Ingredients

  • 1 chamomile tea bag
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 slice whole wheat bread
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)

Steps

  1. Place the chamomile tea bag in a mug and pour hot water over it. Steep for 3-5 minutes.
  2. While tea steeps, toast the slice of bread to your desired crispness.
  3. Butter the hot toast generously. If desired, drizzle with honey.
  4. Remove tea bag from mug. Sip warm tea with your buttered toast.
