Luscious No-Bake Tiramisu
Ingredients
- 6 egg yolks
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 16 oz mascarpone cheese
- 1 3/4 cups strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 1/4 cup coffee liqueur (optional)
- Ladyfingers
- Unsweetened cocoa powder
Steps
- Whisk egg yolks and sugar in a heatproof bowl over simmering water until pale and thick (about 5-7 mins). Remove from heat and cool.
- Beat in mascarpone until smooth. In a separate shallow dish, combine cooled coffee and liqueur.
- Quickly dip ladyfingers into the coffee mixture and arrange a single layer in a 9x13 inch dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight. Dust generously with cocoa powder before serving.
