Homemade Vanilla Bean Gelato (No-Churn)
Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
- Pinch of salt
Steps
- In a large bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, gently fold in sweetened condensed milk, vanilla bean paste, and a pinch of salt until just combined.
- Carefully fold the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture until no streaks remain.
- Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container. Cover tightly and freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight, until firm.
- Scoop and serve. Allow to soften slightly at room temperature for a creamier texture.
