Homemade Vanilla Bean Gelato (No-Churn)

20 minutes prep + 6 hours chill • Easy

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
  • Pinch of salt

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. In a separate bowl, gently fold in sweetened condensed milk, vanilla bean paste, and a pinch of salt until just combined.
  3. Carefully fold the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture until no streaks remain.
  4. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container. Cover tightly and freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight, until firm.
  5. Scoop and serve. Allow to soften slightly at room temperature for a creamier texture.
