Traditional Miso Soup
Ingredients
- 4 cups dashi broth
- 3 tbsp miso paste
- 4 oz firm tofu, cubed
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup dried wakame seaweed
Steps
- Rehydrate wakame seaweed in water for 5 minutes, then drain.
- Heat dashi broth in a pot until simmering, do not boil.
- Dissolve miso paste in a small amount of warm dashi, then add back to the pot.
- Add tofu, wakame, and green onions. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then serve.
