Simple Salmon Avocado Rolls
Ingredients
- 2 cups sushi rice, cooked and seasoned
- 4 sheets nori
- 4 oz sushi-grade salmon, thinly sliced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Soy sauce for serving
Steps
- Lay a sheet of nori on a bamboo mat. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice evenly over the nori, leaving a border.
- Arrange salmon and avocado slices in a line across the center of the rice.
- Carefully roll the mat tightly, pressing firmly to form a cylinder. Moisten the edge of the nori to seal.
- Slice the roll into 6-8 pieces using a sharp, wet knife. Serve with soy sauce.
