When I’m completely stressed out after a long week, nothing cures it like a big bowl of extra spicy ramen. The heat just melts away all the tension, leaving me feeling strangely calm.

Quick Spicy Miso Ramen

20 minutes • Easy

Ingredients

  • 1 pack instant ramen noodles
  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp miso paste
  • 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 soft-boiled egg
  • Sliced green onions for garnish

Steps

  1. Bring broth to a boil in a small pot. Whisk in miso paste and gochujang until dissolved.
  2. Add ramen noodles and cook according to package directions, usually 2-3 minutes.
  3. Pour into a bowl. Top with a soft-boiled egg and green onions.
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy the spicy warmth!
