Sometimes when I’m feeling a bit adventurous and want a kick, I whip up a big pot of spicy chili. It’s a fiery hug that wakes up my senses and makes me feel ready for anything!
David's Fiery Beef Chili
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- 2 tbsp chili powder, 1 tsp cayenne pepper
Steps
- Brown ground beef, onion, and bell pepper in a large pot. Drain fat.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, and cayenne pepper.
- Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings like cheese or sour cream.
