Daniel's Zesty Lomo Saltado

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, cut into strips
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • Fries and rice for serving

Steps

  1. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Sear beef strips quickly until browned.
  2. Add sliced red onion and cook for 1-2 minutes until slightly softened.
  3. Stir in tomato wedges, soy sauce, and red wine vinegar. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  4. Serve immediately over a bed of white rice, with a side of crispy fries.
  5. Enjoy the vibrant flavors of Peru!
