Easy Individual Chocolate Soufflés
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 2 large eggs, separated
- 0.25 cup milk
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Pinch of salt
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Steps
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Butter and sugar two ramekins.
- Melt chocolate in a microwave or double boiler. Stir in milk and flour until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in egg yolks.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites with salt until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold a third of the egg whites into the chocolate mixture, then fold in the remaining egg whites until just combined. Divide batter between ramekins.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until risen and set. Dust with powdered sugar and serve immediately.
