Homemade Veggie Sushi Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice, cooked and seasoned
  • Nori sheets
  • 1/2 cucumber, julienned
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • Soy sauce and wasabi for serving

Steps

  1. Lay a nori sheet on a bamboo mat. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice evenly over nori, leaving a border at the top.
  2. Arrange cucumber, avocado, and carrot strips across the center of the rice.
  3. Carefully roll the mat tightly, pressing firmly. Moisten the top edge of the nori to seal.
  4. Slice the roll into 6-8 pieces with a sharp, wet knife. Serve with soy sauce and wasabi.
