Hearty Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 large potatoes
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup beef broth

Steps

  1. Brown ground beef with chopped onion, drain fat.
  2. Stir in carrots, peas, and beef broth, simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Boil and mash potatoes with butter and milk until smooth.
  4. Spoon meat mixture into a baking dish, top with mashed potatoes, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden.
