Classic Ukrainian Borscht
Ingredients
- 3 large beets
- 1/2 head cabbage
- 2 potatoes
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- 6 cups beef broth
Steps
- Sauté chopped onions and carrots.
- Add diced beets and cabbage, cook briefly.
- Pour in beef broth, add potatoes, simmer until vegetables are tender.
- Season and serve warm with a dollop of sour cream.
