I’m always curious about new flavors, and a really good Pad Thai takes me on a culinary journey every time. So many amazing textures and tastes!

Authentic Pad Thai

Ingredients

  • 8 oz rice noodles
  • 1/2 lb shrimp or chicken
  • 2 tbsp tamarind paste
  • 3 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp palm sugar
  • 1 egg

Steps

  1. Soak rice noodles until pliable, then drain.
  2. Sauté shrimp/chicken in a wok. Push to one side, add egg and scramble.
  3. Add noodles, tamarind paste, fish sauce, and palm sugar. Stir-fry well.
  4. Serve with crushed peanuts, lime wedges, and bean sprouts.
