Hearty Shepherd's Pie
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 large potatoes
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup beef broth
Steps
- Brown ground beef with chopped onion, drain fat.
- Stir in carrots, peas, and beef broth, simmer for 10 minutes.
- Boil and mash potatoes with butter and milk until smooth.
- Spoon meat mixture into a baking dish, top with mashed potatoes, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden.
