Simple Dal Makhani
Ingredients
- 1 cup black lentils (urad dal)
- 1/4 cup kidney beans
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/4 cup cream
Steps
- Soak lentils and kidney beans overnight, then boil until tender.
- Sauté onion, ginger-garlic paste, and tomato puree with spices.
- Add boiled lentils and beans to the pan, simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Stir in cream, garnish with cilantro, and serve hot.
