No-Knead Artisan Bread
Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp instant yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and yeast. Add water and stir until a shaggy dough forms. Cover and let sit at room temperature for 12-18 hours.
- On a floured surface, gently fold the dough a few times. Place it on parchment paper, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside. Carefully place dough into the hot Dutch oven. Bake covered for 30 minutes, then uncovered for 15-20 minutes, until crust is golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
