Authentic Moroccan Mint Tea
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp gunpowder green tea
- 4 cups boiling water
- 1 bunch fresh mint leaves
- 2-4 tbsp granulated sugar (to taste)
Steps
- Rinse the green tea leaves with a splash of boiling water in a teapot, then discard the water.
- Add the fresh mint leaves and sugar to the teapot with the rinsed tea leaves.
- Pour 4 cups of boiling water over the ingredients. Let steep for 3-5 minutes.
- Stir gently and pour the tea into small glasses from a height to create a frothy top. Serve warm.
