Homemade Creamy Hummus
Ingredients
- 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Olive oil for drizzling
Steps
- Combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, water, and salt in a food processor.
- Process until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. Add more water if a thinner consistency is desired.
- Transfer to a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil before serving with warm pita bread or fresh vegetables.
