Oliver's Classic Poutine
Ingredients
- 3 large potatoes, for fries
- 1 cup cheese curds
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- Salt and pepper
Steps
- Cut potatoes into fries and cook until golden and crispy (deep-fry or bake).
- In a saucepan, melt butter. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in beef broth. Simmer, stirring, until gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place hot fries in a bowl, top with cheese curds, and pour hot gravy over them.
