When I’m feeling playful and want a fun snack, I love making pão de queijo. Those little cheesy bread balls are just so delightful and always bring a smile to my face, perfect for sharing!

Easy Pão de Queijo

Ingredients

  • 1 cup tapioca flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Pinch of salt

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 375F (190C). Grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. In a saucepan, heat milk and oil until almost boiling. Remove from heat.
  3. Add tapioca flour and stir vigorously until a dough forms. Let cool slightly.
  4. Stir in egg, Parmesan cheese, and salt until well combined and smooth.
  5. Roll dough into small balls and place in muffin tin. Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden.
