When I’m feeling a bit nervous or under the weather, a simple cup of warm herbal tea and a piece of buttered toast always calms my stomach and my mind. It’s my little ritual.
Soothing Chamomile Tea with Honey Toast
Ingredients
- 1 chamomile tea bag
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 slice whole wheat bread
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
Steps
- Place the chamomile tea bag in a mug and pour hot water over it. Steep for 3-5 minutes.
- While tea steeps, toast the slice of bread to your desired crispness.
- Butter the hot toast generously. If desired, drizzle with honey.
- Remove tea bag from mug. Sip warm tea with your buttered toast.
