Grandma's Easy Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 medium apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 pre-made pie crusts
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix sliced apples with sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
  3. Place one pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate. Fill with apple mixture and dot with butter.
  4. Top with the second pie crust, crimp edges, and cut a few slits on top. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until golden brown.
