When I’m bursting with excitement, I love making tacos al pastor! The vibrant flavors, the sweet and savory pork, it’s a fiesta in every bite and matches my mood perfectly!

Easy Tacos al Pastor (Skillet Version)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork shoulder, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup al pastor marinade (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup finely diced fresh pineapple
  • Corn tortillas
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup finely diced white onion
  • Lime wedges

Steps

  1. 1. Marinate sliced pork in al pastor marinade for at least 30 minutes, or overnight.
  2. 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook pork in batches until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per batch.
  3. 3. Warm corn tortillas. Assemble tacos with cooked pork, fresh pineapple, cilantro, and diced onion.
  4. 4. Serve immediately with lime wedges for squeezing.
