Grandma's Classic Chicken Noodle Soup
Ingredients
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup egg noodles
- 1 cup mixed frozen vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
- 1/2 onion, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Steps
- 1. In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a boil. Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- 2. Stir in egg noodles and cook according to package directions, usually 7-10 minutes.
- 3. Add shredded chicken and frozen mixed vegetables. Heat through for another 5 minutes.
- 4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot with a slice of crusty bread.
