Traditional Miso Soup
Ingredients
- Dashi stock
- Miso paste
- Tofu
- Wakame seaweed
- Green onions
Steps
- Gently heat dashi stock in a pot until simmering.
- In a small bowl, dissolve miso paste with a ladleful of warm dashi, then return to the pot.
- Add cubed tofu and rehydrated wakame seaweed, simmering gently for a few minutes (do not boil).
- Serve immediately, garnished with thinly sliced green onions.
