Classic Apple Crumble

Ingredients

  • 4 large apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place sliced apples in an 8x8 inch baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, combine flour, butter, brown sugar, oats, and cinnamon; rub with fingers until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle crumble mixture evenly over the apples and bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and apples are tender.
