Aromatic Lamb Tagine

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs lamb shoulder, cubed
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup dried apricots
  • 2 tbsp tagine spice blend
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • Couscous for serving

Steps

  1. Brown lamb cubes in a tagine or heavy pot.
  2. Add sliced onion and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in spices, apricots, and chicken broth; bring to a simmer.
  4. Cover and cook on low heat for 1.5-2 hours until lamb is tender. Serve over couscous.
