Homemade Hummus
Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- Salt to taste
Steps
- Combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, and cumin in a food processor.
- Blend until smooth, adding 1-2 tablespoons of water if needed for desired consistency.
- Season with salt to taste. Transfer to a bowl.
- Drizzle with extra olive oil and a sprinkle of paprika before serving with pita bread.
