Vanilla Cupcakes
Ingredients
- All-purpose flour
- Granulated sugar
- Unsalted butter
- Eggs
- Milk
- Vanilla extract
- Baking powder
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk, mixing until just combined.
- Fill cupcake liners about two-thirds full and bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely before frosting.
