Simple Steak Frites

- Sirloin steak
- Potatoes
- Olive oil
- Salt

- Garlic powder

- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut potatoes into fries, toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then bake until crispy.
- Season steak generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat with a little olive oil until smoking. Sear steak for 2-4 minutes per side for desired doneness.
