Grandma's Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Steps
- Preheat oven to 375F (190C).
- Cream together butter and sugars. Beat in egg and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to wet ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet and bake for 9-11 minutes.
