Energizing Bibimbap Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked short-grain rice
  • 1/2 lb ground beef or tofu
  • Assorted sautéed vegetables (spinach, carrots, zucchini)
  • 1 egg (fried or raw yolk)
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • Sesame oil

Steps

  1. Cook rice. Sauté ground beef/tofu and season. Sauté each vegetable separately until tender-crisp.
  2. Assemble bowl: Place rice at the bottom. Arrange cooked beef/tofu and vegetables decoratively on top.
  3. Add a fried egg or raw egg yolk in the center. Drizzle with sesame oil and a dollop of gochujang. Mix thoroughly before eating.
