Simple Chicken Tikka Masala

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cubed
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Cooked rice and naan for serving

Steps

  1. Marinate chicken cubes with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, and garam masala for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a pan with a little oil. Cook chicken until browned. Add tomato sauce and simmer for 10-15 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.
  3. Stir in heavy cream and heat through gently (do not boil). Season with salt to taste.
  4. Serve hot with cooked basmati rice and warm naan bread.
