Italians celebrate with food, and when I have something to cheer for, a homemade tiramisu is my go-to. It feels so luxurious and special.
Easy No-Bake Tiramisu
Ingredients
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 2 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
- 1 (8 ounce) package mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 (7 ounce) package ladyfingers
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Steps
- Combine cooled coffee and coffee liqueur in a shallow dish.
- In a bowl, beat mascarpone cheese and sugar until smooth. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into the mascarpone mixture.
- Quickly dip ladyfingers into the coffee mixture and arrange a layer in an 8x8 inch dish. Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining cream. Dust generously with cocoa powder. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
